Shabbat Experience in the Green Moutains:

Come experience Shabbat in our private guest suite in Waterbury, Vermont. Our guest suite is located on the ground floor for easy access, has a queen size bed, a twin bed and a pack and play can also be added for a baby or toddler. There is also a possibility for 3 more people to sleep in an adjoining living room space sharing the same floor and bathroom. We have a fenced backyard with a large Sukkah for carrying, eating or playing outdoors on Shabbat.

You can enjoy a quiet Shabbat close to nature and a 5 minutes walk to hiking trails through the forest with mountain views on Camel’s Hump peak and Putnam state forest. We are surrounded by 3 amazing State Parks and 3 top ski resorts: Stowe Mountain, family friendly Bolton Valley & Sugarbush.

ABOUT US:

We are a shomer shabbat family with 2 kids (age 2 & 8 yo) that recently moved to Vermont and love to share our cozy home on a 1 acre property with a beautiful mountain view.

I manage a tourism business and also have a background in permaculture, kosher food production and teach an environmental appreciation, wildlife education & skills to our local school and Jewish summer-camps. My wife Rachel is a Jewish Studies professor at Dartmouth. I love to hike, fish and bring Jewish education into the nature. On Shabbat I love to play with my kids, get to know my guests, study Rabbi Nachman’s Torah, walk in the forest & practice hitbodedut.
